Brian's place exceeded our expectations. The space was much bigger than it looks in the photos and the surrounding area is just beautiful. Though the cottage adjoins the farmhouse, it is really private. The roof is a lovely spot for a sunrise coffee/evening drink under the stars. Highly recommend.

We have just spent a wonderful ten days at Brian’s cottage. It was the perfect location to relax and spend quality time as a family.
The pool was a good size for our needs and was shaded from mid afternoon, the children loved it. Inside the house was clean and really well equipped. The welcome pack was perfect and much appreciated following a long journey.
There was a restaurant and small local shop within a five minute walk and it was around 20 minutes to larger supermarkets. Lots to do within a short drive.
The parking is tight but very doable. Recommend approaching the cottage by driving up the hill and leaving also up the hill. Navigation is much more manageable that way.
Totally recommend the cottage as relaxing holiday destination.

We had a great time at The Cottage - beautiful roof terrace and pool. Very generous welcome pack and extra bits provided for our daughter for the pool. Loads to do locally. Brian and his team were always helpful, kind and quick to respond.

Excellent property. Exactly as advertised. Clean, well presented. Good location for both hills and beaches.
Brian is a fabulous communicator and very helpful. Idalia (the housekeeper) is a great chef who will provide delicious food on request for a modest fee.

A lovely old typical Portuguese farmhouse, all on one level set in to the hillside with lovely views over the hills beyond. Great pool, badminton and the best restaurant within walking distance. And good trekking country.

Charming rustic cottage with everything you could need for a self-catering holiday. The pool area is immaculate and the badminton area was brilliant for us. Because of our October stay, the cottage was cold in the evenings and we didn’t think to light the log burner which in hindsight was probably silly of us! Comfortable beds, decent bathrooms and well-equipped kitchen. Great outdoor dining space too. The cottage is tucked away up a narrow steep hill so don’t choose a huge 4x4 hire car !
The eating out recommendations were top notch. The steakhouse just down the road was the best steak I have ever had.
